NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz is back and that running back Saquon Barkley is good to go. Rapoport also reported that Chicago Bears quarterback Case Keenum will start. The return of Ertz and Barkley’s availability are official, according to Rapoport’s NFL Network report.

Ertz has played one game for the Eagles in 2026-27, recording one reception on two targets for 9 receiving yards. The tight end’s return adds a player who has already been involved in the passing game, though his sample this season is limited to those two targets.

Barkley has appeared in all three Eagles games and has 34 rushing attempts for 174 yards. He has also caught three of six targets for 6 receiving yards. Philadelphia enters at 2-1, with its offense ranked 23rd and its defense 17th in EPA among 32 teams.

Keenum has played one game for the 2-1 Bears in 2026-27. He completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and two passing touchdowns, while adding four carries for 6 yards and one rushing touchdown; he also has one fumble. Chicago ranks eighth in offensive EPA and eighth in defensive EPA among 32 teams as Keenum gets the start, according to Rapoport.
