Quarterback Caleb Williams von den Chicago Bears wurde für den zweiten Tag in Folge als voller Teilnehmer im Training geführt, was ihn auf Kurs für einen Start am Sonntag gegen die Atlanta Falcons bringt, berichtete ESPN-Insider Adam Schefter am Donnerstag.
Williams hat in dieser Saison zwei Spiele bestritten, beide als Starter. Er hat 36 von 55 Pässen für 407 Yards vollendet, dabei zwei Touchdowns und eine Interception geworfen und wurde fünfmal gesackt.
Außerdem ist er 15-mal für 107 Yards gelaufen und hat zwei Touchdowns erzielt, dazu kommt ein Fumble.
Die Bears stehen bei 3-2. Ihre Offensive liegt im EPA pro Spielzug auf Rang 19 von 32 Teams, ihre Defensive auf Rang 8. Die Falcons stehen bei 2-3, mit der Offensive auf Rang 17 und der Defensive auf Rang 14 nach dieser Kennzahl.
