With Mark Williams (shoulder) expected to miss around five months, Reath figures to compete for playing time with Khaman Maluach and Oso Ighodaro. Reath's 2025-26 campaign was cut short after he underwent right foot surgery in late January, and it's unclear if he'll be at full strength for training camp. Across 32 regular-season appearances for the Trail Blazers in 2025-26, he averaged 2.9 points and 1.2 rebounds across 8.1 minutes per contest.

Huntley will miss Phoenix's final three games in Las Vegas. He'll have plenty of time to rest up before training camp opens up in September.

Knueppel's status for Opening Night remains uncertain as he continues to work his way back from his left hamstring injury. Peterson's comments suggest the Hornets aren't ready to rule out the second-year wing, though his availability will likely become clearer as training camp progresses. He has already been ruled out for the entire preseason, to be clear.

Williams will be re-evaluated the first week of the regular season, putting his status for Opening Night in the air. Williams will have a difficult path to minutes this season as he competes with the likes of Naz Reid, Royce O'Neale and Tidjane Salaun.

Hall sustained the injury in the G League Greensboro Swarm's playoff win over the Maine Celtics on March 31. The big man appeared in 19 regular-season games (two starts) with Charlotte, averaging 4.5 points and 3.9 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per contest. He's signed to a two-way deal with the Hornets and is slated to return next season.
