Game card: Buffalo Bills 33, Las Vegas Raiders 30, with each team's leader

The Buffalo Bills (4-1) visit the Las Vegas Raiders (3-2) on Sunday, October 18, with the league's top-ranked offense facing a run defense ranked third and a defense that ranks second in takeaways.

The Bills lead the league in offensive EPA per play at 0.27 and in rushing efficiency, and they run for 158 yards a game. The Raiders allow 140.6 rushing yards a game, 29th, yet their run defense ranks third by efficiency.

Buffalo's defense is the other side of it. The Bills allow 28.2 points a game, 28th in the league, and 295.8 passing yards, 31st. Las Vegas throws for 263.4 yards a game, eighth, so Kirk Cousins has room to work through the air.

Cousins has 12 touchdown passes and four interceptions in five starts. For Buffalo, Josh Allen has thrown for 1,249 yards in five starts, and James Cook III has 532 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.

Las Vegas takes the ball away 2.8 times a game. Buffalo gives it away 1.8 times a game, 25th, so that is where the Bills' offense can be disrupted. Brock Bowers has 312 receiving yards in three games. Ashton Jeanty has 291 rushing yards for the league's 28th-ranked rushing offense.

Buffalo lists six players as questionable, among them wide receivers DJ Moore and Joshua Palmer and defensive tackle Ed Oliver. The Raiders have defensive tackle Tonka Hemingway and wide receiver Tyler Scott out, and center Trey Zuhn III is questionable.

The Bills have won four of five, including 37-34 at the Los Angeles Rams last time out. The Raiders arrive off a 45-17 loss at New England and a 30-27 home loss to Kansas City.

Kickoff at Allegiant Stadium is 4:25 PM ET. Sportsbooks' prices give Buffalo a 67% chance to win and Las Vegas 33%.
