Use our data

Journalists, bloggers, podcasters and analysts are welcome to use the numbers, charts and cards Keel Stats makes, with a link back to us. Here is how to cite us, what you can use, which numbers are our own and how to reach us.

Research, not picks

Keel Stats is a statistics and research tool. We don't sell picks or tell anyone what to bet: we show the numbers — including our model's projections — so readers can make their own call. Statistics are free; Keel Stats Pro adds the sportsbooks' lines and the research tools built on them.

How to cite us

Name us as Keel Stats and link to the page the number comes from: every player, team, game and leaderboard has its own address, in six languages. Where a link is not possible, name the site: keelstats.com.

What you can use

Our charts, cards and numbers may be quoted and shown in articles, posts, videos, podcasts and newsletters, free of charge, as long as Keel Stats is named and linked. Every player and team page has an “Embed” button with its card and the HTML to paste; the card links back to the page.

Which numbers are ours

These are computed by Keel Stats from game data by documented methods; please credit them to us. Each is explained on the methodology page:

What we cannot offer

Scores, box scores, play by play, injury reports and sportsbook lines come from balldontlie, a licensed data provider. So we do not offer raw data downloads, bulk exports or access to our API, and our terms ask that the site not be copied in bulk or scraped. Our own numbers and charts, credited, are yours to quote.
