Report: Vikings signing Max Brosmer to 53-man roster

The Minnesota Vikings are reportedly signing quarterback Max Brosmer from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Pelissero reported that, with the J.J. McCarthy trade complete, Brosmer can be inactive while dressing as Minnesota's emergency third quarterback behind Kyler Murray and Carson Wentz.

Brosmer's recent production

In 2025-26, Brosmer appeared in seven games and completed 47 of 71 passes for 328 yards. He threw four interceptions, took 14 sacks and added 11 rushing yards on seven attempts.
