The severity of the finger injury is unknown, though it kept Diawara from playing in New York's final three Las Vegas Summer League outings. Over two outings in Las Vegas this summer, he averaged 3.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in 24.7 minutes per tilt.

Eubanks will compete for a spot on the Knicks' regular-season roster in training camp. The big man underwent surgery to repair a torn UCL in his left thumb in mid-March, though he's expected to be fully healthy when training camp rolls around. Across 42 regular-season appearances (11 starts) for the Kings last season, the 29-year-old averaged 5.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 0.6 blocks and 0.5 assists in 13.1 minutes per game.

Dante underwent surgery in January to repair a torn ACL and is expected to miss time to begin the 2026-27 season, so it's possible this is a move to secure his G League rights. Over four appearances with the G League's College Park Skyhawks last season, he averaged 11.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks across 16.2 minutes per contest.

Isaac suffered his left knee sprain late in the 2025-26 regular season and missed Orlando's entire first-round playoff series against Detroit. The veteran forward said he spent the summer rehabbing his knee and isn't fully ready for camp, though he indicated that the expectation is for him to be fine. His activity level will be worth monitoring as the preseason approaches.
