The Portland Trail Blazers have waived forward Jeremy Sochan, according to a report Saturday from Marc Stein of The Stein Line. The team has not announced the move.
Sochan averaged 3.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 10.7 minutes per game for the New York Knicks in 2025-26. He appeared in 44 regular-season games and made no starts.
In the playoffs that season, he played in eight games and averaged 2.5 points in 3.5 minutes. Over his last 10 regular-season games, he averaged 3.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 7.3 minutes.
Portland went 42-40 in 2025-26 with a net rating of -0.3, 19th of 30 teams. The Trail Blazers ranked 13th in defensive rating and 22nd in offensive rating.
