The Dallas Mavericks have officially exercised their third-year rookie scale option on forward Cooper Flagg, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line, in a report posted Saturday, October 17.
Flagg averaged 21 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 33.5 minutes per game in 2025-26 and started all 70 games he played. He shot 54.8% true shooting with a 27% usage rate.
Over his last 10 games he averaged 25.6 points with a 32.3% usage rate. Dallas was outscored by 3.8 points per game with him on the floor.
