Game card: Milwaukee Bucks 116, Washington Wizards 128, with each team's leader

The Milwaukee Bucks (32-50), owners of one of the NBA's best shooting offenses, visit the Washington Wizards (17-65) and the league's worst defensive rating on Wednesday, October 21. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM ET.

All records and ratings here are from last season, with this season's rosters.

Milwaukee had the third-best effective field-goal percentage in the league, 56.5, and took 45.7% of its shots from three, fifth-most. Washington allowed opponents an effective field-goal percentage of 56.3, 27th, and a defensive rating of 120.3, last. Open threes should be there.

Neither side rebounds well. The Wizards grabbed 70.2% of available defensive rebounds, the lowest rate in the league, and the Bucks collected 21.1% of their own misses, also last. Pace may separate them: Washington played at 103.4 possessions, sixth fastest, Milwaukee at 99.1, 25th.

Tyler Herro averaged 20.5 points last season and made 91.7% of his free throws. Kel'el Ware pulled down 9 rebounds a game. For Washington, Anthony Davis averaged 20.4 points and 11.1 rebounds in 20 games, and Alexandre Sarr blocked two shots a game.

Washington is without AJ Dybantsa, who averaged 24.8 minutes and is expected back Friday, October 23. Jamir Watkins is out until Friday, April 2, and Tristan Vukcevic until Monday, November 2. Milwaukee lists only Nate Ament, day-to-day.

The Wizards ended last season with 10 straight losses, the last a 121-115 defeat at Brooklyn. The Bucks went 3-7 over their final 10 games.

Sportsbooks' prices give Washington a 62% chance to win. Keel's projection, built from the players available, puts the Wizards at 53%.
